TylerBooks Studio Terms of Use
License to use TylerBooks
Gopsco grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TylerBooks on supported devices for your own writing, design, and publishing work while your evaluation, paid introductory period, or subscription entitlement is valid. The app and bundled product materials are licensed, not sold. You may not resell access, bypass subscription or device controls, distribute protected product assets as a standalone library, or use the service to violate law or another person's rights.
Evaluation and paid subscription
An eligible Google Play account may receive a low-cost paid seven-day introductory period under the offer shown by Google Play. There is no free production trial. While the paid introduction is active and verified, it includes the same production features as its base plan, including unwatermarked production export. The no-purchase evaluation is separate and remains watermarked and export-limited. Google Play displays the introductory price, renewal price, billing period, taxes, and offer eligibility before purchase. Cancel through Google Play before renewal to avoid the next charge.
Web account
A TylerBooks web account must use accurate registration information, a passphrase you keep confidential, and an email address you control. You are responsible for activity through the account and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. Account deletion and Google Play subscription cancellation are separate actions.
Your work
You retain ownership of the manuscript, artwork, data, and other material you create or lawfully import. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use, edit, export, publish, or distribute that material. You grant Gopsco only the limited permission needed to process content when you deliberately use a connected TylerBooks service.
Templates, fonts, media, and exports
Bundled design materials may have product-specific usage rules. Unless a displayed license says otherwise, you may use an authorized TylerBooks template or element as part of a completed book or publishing project, but may not extract, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the source asset by itself. You are responsible for reviewing an export before publication, including text, typography, bleed, color, accessibility, metadata, rights, and retailer requirements.
Connected services
A retailer, printer, distributor, storage provider, or publishing platform may apply separate terms, fees, review rules, and privacy practices. TylerBooks does not make a submission to an external provider unless you select and authorize that action. Gopsco is not responsible for an external provider's acceptance decision, production result, listing, royalty calculation, or service availability.
Acceptable use
Do not use TylerBooks to distribute unlawful material, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, introduce malicious code, interfere with service operation, impersonate another person, evade access controls, or share a subscription beyond its licensed device and user scope.
Updates and service changes
Gopsco may provide security, compatibility, reliability, and product updates. A store subscription covers the version made available through the applicable Play listing while the subscription remains active. A feature may change when required for safety, law, platform policy, provider compatibility, or product operation.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for an unpaid, refunded, expired, fraudulent, or materially breached subscription. Local access can also end when a time-bounded entitlement expires and cannot be reverified. You may stop using the app at any time. Canceling Play billing and deleting TylerBooks service data are separate actions.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, TylerBooks is provided without a promise that the app, autosave, sync, migration, storage, backup, recovery, imported file, export, retailer specification, printer result, or external service will be uninterrupted, error-free, bug-free, or free from data loss. A backup can be incomplete, corrupt, unavailable, or unrecoverable. Keep current independent copies in more than one location, retain backup passphrases separately, verify backup integrity, test recovery, and inspect production files before publishing or printing. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Feedback, changes, and contact
Product feedback and reproducible issue reports help Gopsco improve TylerBooks. Do not send confidential manuscripts, passwords, purchase tokens, private keys, or identity documents through ordinary email. Gopsco may use non-confidential product feedback to operate and improve TylerBooks; submitting feedback does not transfer ownership of your manuscript or imported creative content.
Gopsco may update these terms for future use of TylerBooks. A material change will be identified through an appropriate product or service notice. Questions or feedback may be sent to tylersys.support@gopsco.com.
